Provide end-user support for MBO’s and vendors via inbound, outbound calls and emails.  Support and facilitate accurate purchase orders to the vendor community through Lawson software and provide updates which have filtered back through various means of communication and technology.





  • Handle inbound and outbound inquiries in accordance to the department’s service level expectations.
  • Manage the Lawson dashboard ensuring all order exceptions and phone in orders are handled same day
  • Actively participate in Quality Monitoring review sessions and meet standards set forth
  • Communicate with the MBO’s and vendors on the status of inquiries
  • Utilize the Remedy ticket system to capture all pertinent information on all calls.
  • Update Purchase Orders with information provided by vendors pertaining to pricing, delivery and item status.
  • Process rush orders as required with vendors for MBO’s via phone
  • Complete email inquiries from MBO’s and vendors
  • Adhere to schedule and monitor call work codes closely
  • Meet department productivity standards while working as a team player
  • Perform other duties as assigned


Education / Accreditation / Licenses (required & preferred):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
Associates degree preferred

Experience (required and preferred):


  • Two years’ experience in healthcare environment.
  • Two years’ experience in a call center/customer service center, purchasing/procurement
  • Purchasing/Procurement background preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • General knowledge of customer service processes and computer support tools.
  • Experience with large multi-level organizations and the ability to work effectively in geographically diverse environment.
  • Commitment to the mission and vision of Supply Chain and CHI overall.
