Responsibilities

Expectations:

  • Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients
  • Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
  • Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity
  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself
  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures
  • Performs a variety of specialized technical tasks associated with the operation of CT scanners and related equipment to assist the radiologist in the detection of anatomical abnormalities.
  • The Computed Tomography Technologist is responsible for daily operations of the CT section, patient schedule, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA).

Qualifications

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • AAS Radiologic Technologist (RT) degree from an accredited program
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registry eligible
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist through the North Dakota Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy Board of Examiners (NDMIRT).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

No previous experience required-New Grads Welcomed!

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
  • 1 to 2 years CT experience
  • Knowledgable in basic computer skills; PACs, and Meditech
