Serving central North Dakota since 1916, the Carrington location includes a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital, Level V Trauma Center, rural health clinic and outpatient services. The cook is responsible for preparing and serving high quality, nutritious meals according to the approved menus; practicing sanitary methods of food handling, preparation, meal service and equipment cleaning.
High school graduate or equivalent education is preferred. Preference is given to persons with education/training in quantitity cooking and therapeutic diets.
Minimum of one (1) year in healthcare food service setting is desired.
PREFERRED: One (1) year experience in a healthcare food service setting is desired.
