The Marketn Director contributes to the MercyOne Central Iowa vision and mission by the creation, timely modification and maintenance of an effective system to maintain accounting records and internal controls on behalf of the market as a whole and in support of each of the separate operational units. Responsible for the preparation and reporting of market consolidated financial information including regulatory requirements; long-range financial plans, annual budgets, actual results and future forecasts. Directs the activities of the market finance department through a team of team leaders and associates. Manages the accounting, financial systems and analytics, forecasting, planning and analysis team functions directly and is responsible for ensuring they perform their respective duties. Collaborates with operations to support their teams in identifying measuring and improving financial operations.

Required Minimum Experience | Minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years in hospital accounting or a CPA firm with related background in Healthcare accounting, with at least three (3) years of progressive management experience in general accounting in a Healthcare environment or CPA firm. Master's degree with FHFMA or CPA designation strongly preferred. Previous experience as a Controller or Assistant Controller preferred. |
