The Cath Lab Tech will perform duties of circulating, scrub, pan and monitoring of invasive cardiology procedures.  The Cath Lab Tech will need to demonstrate an understanding of all invasive procedures, the equipment and supplies for each procedure, and indications for performing each procedure.


  • Operates the radiographic equipment utilizing radiation safety procedures
  • Operates physiologic recorder/database system with expertise recognizing arrhythmias and normal/abnormal waveforms
  • Operates manifold, power injector, and other support equipment (VCR, ACT machines, oximeters, and transport monitors)



  • Minimum one (1) year clinical experience in a hospital setting as a cardiac lab tech or experience in invasive cardiovascular technology or experience as a scrub assist
  • minimum two (2) years of clinical experince in hospital setting 
  • Associate's Degree -OR-
  • Registered as a Radiologic Technologist Radiography (RTR), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT)
  • Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) preferred
