JOB SUMMARY / PURPOSE
The primary responsibility of the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) RN to evaluate and create a plan of care for the surgical patient in the Phase I recovery period.
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State
Basic Life Support (BLS), required, Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within one (1) year of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) preferred; Previous one year experience in operating room preferred
