The Outpatient Infusion Center Nurse Coordinator is responsible for assisting with organizing, planning, leading, and directing clinical and management activities in the outpatient infusion centers. The coordinator contributes to organizational operations. Accountable for daily supervision of patient/nursing care delivery. The coordinator participates as a member of the health care team in maintaining continuity and quality of patient care. This position reports to the Oncology Clinical Services Director.
Required Education | Graduate of an accredited school of nursing BSN or actively pursuing BSN |
Required Licensure and Certifications | Active RN license in Tennessee. BCLS required at time of hire. Chemotherapy certification required. |
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills and Abilities | Two years as a charge nurse in a hospital or outpatient setting. Five years recent nursing experience. |
PREFERRED Qualifications | OCN certification preferred Prior leadership, staffing or budget management preferred |
