Responsibilities

The Cath-Lab Clinical Coordinator is responsible for ensuring procedure charges are captured and billed correctly during the allotted time. They abstract data as needed for monthly and quarterly reports and ensure spreadsheet data is accurate and current. They act as a liaison between providers and the billing department. The Cath-Lab Clinical Coordinator oversees daily cath-lab operations in the absence of the department director.

Qualifications

Education Level:

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Preferred:  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing

Licensure/Certification:

  • Texas RN License
  • BLS through American Heart Association
  • ACLS through American Heart Association

Experience:

  • 2 years in Cardiology Services including but not limited to general cardiology, interventional cardiology and cardiovascular/thoracic surgery
