Responsibilities

Responsibilities include repair, installation and operation verification performance tests on all equipment per manufacturer recommendations.  Works with the marketing liaison on sales plans, in-services and community events.  Requires organization skills necessary to maintain a full schedule of clients on a daily basis.  Needs strong mechanical aptitude to perform the daily tasks of repair, modifications and installation of equipment.

 

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

  • Completes proposals/quotes on all orders that exceed $1,000.
  • Responsible for developing sales plans and creating visibility in the community.
  • Follow-up of all phone calls and quotes in a timely manner.
  • Utilize computer system for all ordering of equipment and supplies.
  • Coordinates the maintenance and up-keep of GPRS vehicles
  • Responsible for maintaining appropriate skill levels for repairs and installation of ADA equipment.
  • Flexible regarding scheduling to care for patients and other staff

 

Qualifications

Required Education for Staff Job Levels

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Ability to communicate both orally and in writing.  Must demonstrate initiative and good judgment.  Promotes positive working relationships among co-workers through expressions of appreciation to others for the work they do.  Works in harmony and with a spirit of cooperation with the general public.  Disciplined to actively listen to customers’ needs and takes responsibility to address those needs.  Thrives in a fast paced work environment.

 

PREFERRED Education and/or Experience

Mechanical and electrical knowledge is required for this position.
