Overview

CommonSpirit Health was formed by the alignment of Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health. With more than 700 care sites across the U.S. & from clinics and hospitals to home-based care and virtual care services CommonSpirit is accessible to nearly one out of every four U.S. residents. Our world needs compassion like never before. Our communities need caring and our families need protection. With our combined resources CommonSpirit is committed to building healthy communities advocating for those who are poor and vulnerable and innovating how and where healing can happen both inside our hospitals and out in the community.

CHI St. Vincent North in Sherwood opened in October 1999.  The hospital offers private rooms and serves the community with 24 hour emergency service.  More than 200 coworkers and physicians at the facility provide medical care for Sherwood, North Little Rock, Jacksonville and surrounding communities.  We share the campus with CHI St. Vincent Rehabilitation Hospital.  In 2019 we relocated the Arkansas Neurosciences Institute from the Infirmary in Little Rock to our North campus.  We have experienced, compassionate physicians and nurses on staff in our emergency room who specialize in emergency medicine.  We offer heart services to include care for ST elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), which is caused by a blockage of blood flow to the heart and requires timely treatment.

Emergency Room Nurses with CHI St Vincent have a variety of skills. Keen assessment skills, critical thinking, and a sense of urgency attribute to their success. Our ER is state of the art and needs nurses like you that enjoy a challenge and team centered environment.
