  • Establish and maintain the efficient operation of the State of California Cancer registry which includes fulfilling the requirements of the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer, and the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations.
  • This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of St. Bernardine Medical Center.
  • It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.
  • The employee shall support St. Bernardine Medical Center's strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement/process improvement activities.


  • Minimum of three (3) years experience abstracting tumor data
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience in a Cancer Registry Department
  • Prefer at least one (1) year experience in an acute care setting
  • Minimum of three (3) years of lead experience
