Director Hospital Operations

The Director is responsible for planning, organizing, operations, directing and managing resources for multiple departments to maintain 24 hour accountability. These responsibilities include: budget responsibility; efficient/effective resource utilization; recruitment and effective/efficient management while maintaining positive working relationships with staff, system departments while achieving quality outcomes; performance improvement; monitoring of quality and quantity of services; maintaining budgets, strategic planning and service line development and oversight of operations. The Director will display positive support for the values and mission of CHI St. Luke’s Health organization.

Education Level:

• Masters of Business Administration or Masters in Healthcare Administration
• Combination of education and experience may be considered

Licensure/Certification:

• None

Experience:

• Minimum of 1-2 years in Emergency Management
• Minimum of 3 years Leadership experience
• Preferred:  Previous hospital experience to include participation in TJC &/or DNV accrediation surveys and Environment of Care programs
