Job Summary:
As an MRI Tech, you will operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment safely and accurately to capture specific images ordered by a physician to aid in patient diagnosis. Your day-to-day work will also include:

  • Preparing and positioning patients correctly and effectively
  • Recording the requested diagnostic images
  • Sending results to physician for evaluation and diagnosis
  • Adhering to strict safety, regulatory, licensing and department standards and protocols
  • Applying knowledge of aseptic technique; maintaining quality control for all imaging equipment; and maintaining knowledge of physics, anatomy, techniques and medical terminology through participating in continuing education, seminars, meetings and in-services
  • Maintaining records and logs
  • Performing incidental general office duties such as answering phones, scheduling, filing, maintaining records and ordering supplies


Graduation from an accredited school of Radiological Technology



  • American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) certification
  • State of Washington Certification as a Radiological Technologist
  • ARRT MRI Certification is preferred
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
