CHI St. Vincent Heart Clinic Arkansas has a full-time opportunity for a Patient Account Rep to join our team in North Little Rock.

The Patient Account Representative prepares and processes superbill charges and payments and post to patient accounts; schedules daily appointments; performs other duties as assigned.

  • Answers phones promptly and courteously
  • Responds to mail regarding account inquires
  • Maintains records and files current for easy retrieval
  • Enters patient information for appointments
  • Ensure patient information is accurate in patient and computer records
  • Maintain chart order established by clinic, when filing correspondence in patient record
  • Handles collections of patient money in accurate honest mannerism
  • Handles patient accounts in confidential mannerism
  • Maintains good working relationships with patients, clinic staff, billing agency and insurance companies
  • Comply with regulatory standards for the industry and the clinic
  • Schedule patient appointments




Education: High School Diploma, GED, Metropolitan Test or Equivalent 


Experience: Experience in health care or related setting; ability to work without close supervision

Physical Requirements: Able to lift and carry up to twenty five (25) pounds.  Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time.  Must be mentally alert and able to work under pressure.
