Responsibilities

Expectations:

  • Performs appropriate patient care conditions essential for completion of the procedure for patients of all ages.
  • Performs appropriate patient care conditions essential for completion of the procedure for patients of all ages.
  • Performs radiologic procedures on patients of all ages properly, according to the Radiology Procedure Manual standard of obtaining diagnostic images.
  • Participates in department Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities.
  • Performs Diagnostic Angiographic/Therapeutic Interventional procedures on patients of all ages properly, according to the Angiographic/Interventional procedure manual standard.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • AAS Radiologic Technologist (RT) degree from accredited program
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Registry eligible and registered within 12 months of hire
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist through the Arkansas Department of Health.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

New grads are welcome to apply! 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
  • 1 year of previous Rad Tech experience 
  • Knowledgable in basic computer skills; PACs, and Meditech
  • Preferred registry eligible or registered in Cardiovascular Interventional Technology by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
