Responsibilities

Expectations:

  • Efficient interpretation of clinical information from clinical team meeting radiology needs of patients
  • Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the order
  • Hyper-sensitivity in monitoring radiation exposure time and activity
  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself
  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • AAS Radiologic Technologist (RT) degree from accredited program
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • Encouraged to take advanced level MRI registry within three (3) years of hire date.
  • Licensed Radiologic Technologist through the Arkansas Department of Health.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited program
  • 1 year of previous Rad Tech experience 
  • Knowledgable in basic computer skills; PACs, and Meditech
