Our Respiratory Therapists are highly trained when it comes to performing specialized respiratory care for patients in the home setting. Care at home involves caring for patients who need CPAP/VPAP devices, nebulizers, and other various home medical equipment. 

Some of your responsibilities:

• Assess and evaluate of the appropriateness and effectiveness of therapy based on patient’s age, cognitive and physical abiliites, and/or developmental needs.
• Educates patients on disease process, test results and appropriate treatment. If appropriate make recommendations for changes in specific modes of therapy.
• Ensures the patient is compliant and successful with therapy.
• Providing follow-up assessments using language and materials appropriate for age, cognitive and physical abilities and/or developmental needs.

What you will need:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• BLS through American Heart Association
• Respiratory Care License with Nebraska
