CHI Living Communities, based in Toledo, Ohio has become one of the fastest growing Catholic organizations serving older adults in the United States. CHI Living Communities was formed in 1998 as Franciscan Living Communities as a sponsored ministry of the Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio.
The Senior Vice President of Operations is responsible for the overall operations of CHI Living Communities. To ensure the success of the ministry, this position provides direction, oversight, and consultation to the Vice President of Operations, Director of Clinical Services and Director of Communications to promote the mission, vision and values while achieving operational excellence. The Senior Vice President of Operations participates in the strategic planning process and collaborates with the executive leadership team to ensure the delivery of exceptional care and regulatory compliance.
CHI Living Communities has an opportunity for a proven leader with 10 or more years of direct operational experience in senior living to join our ministry as Senior Vice President of Operations. The position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Essential Job Specific Duties/Responsibilities
In addition to the essential job specific duties listed above, the Senior Vice President of Operations shall be required to perform all duties (essential and non-essential) in a manner consistent with the mission statement and core values of CHI Living Communities and will be evaluated on such basis. Furthermore, every employee must abide by all campus, departmental, and safety policies, rules, and regulations.
The ideal candidate has experience in all levels of senior living. Successful candidates must possess excellent communication and analytical skills, up-to-date knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements, an active nursing home administrator license, and a passion for living our mission and values.
The ability to travel and provide multi-state operational oversight in all of our markets is required. Ohio residence preferred but not required.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred. Licensed Nursing Home Administrator required.
Experience: At least 10 years of direct operational experience in executive leadership role with SNF, Memory Care, AL, and IL levels of care.
