Responsibilities

Medical Surgical Nurse

Looking for a challenge? Then Medical Surgical Telemetry is your answer! A Medical Surgical Nurse is a highly skilled profession, one that is extremely versatile and rewarding. You will see a variety of complex patient medical conditions and surgeries. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide safe, quality care for our most vulnerable patients. Medical Surgical will keep you on your toes!

 

What you’ll do:

 Provide comprehensive and compassionate care for Medical Surgical level patients, which can range from Heart Failure and Pneumonia to Hip Fractures and General Abdominal Surgeries

 Develop and implement nursing care plans. Assess and monitoring patients

Administer medications and treatments

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes but not limited to, Physicians, Care Management, and Therapy Services.

Qualifications

Job Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.  Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred

One year of related work experience is preferred

Current State Licensure as a Registered Nurse is required

Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
