Sign On Bonus: $15,000

The Paramedic provides direct patient care:

• administers medications utilizing the five (5) Patient Rights
• identifies significant changes or high risk situations
• completes all documentation in a timely manner
• demonstrates knowledge and use of equipment encountered in the ambulance department or in hospital
• communicates patient status at transfer of care
• adjusts own workload as needed
• assess, identifies, and communicates staffing needs to Coordinator or adjusts staffing needs to current situation
• is responsible for the supervision, safety of EMT’s, staff, and bystanders, and coordinates the patient care with ancillary departments involved in either direct or indirect patient care
