Speech Language Pathologist

Speech-language pathologists assess, diagnose, treat, and help with language problems and to prevent communication and swallowing disorders in patients.

ESSENTIAL KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrates competence with clinical skills necessary to provide care appropriately to all the patient groups served by the speech language pathology service
• Provides treatments as included in POC
• Provides instruction in/demonstration of equipment, treatments, disease process, self care and exercises to patients, family, and staff.
• Provides timely and accurate documentation of services provided in the medical record, per policy.
• Communicates with medical, nursing and other Rehab staff
• Staff will strive to provide service to patients or clients by filling our service promise of Kind, Compassionate Care, EveryPerson, Every Time.
• Staff will maintain an awareness of overall safety in regards for all athletes, patients and clients.
• Other duties as assigned by management

SLP Licensure in State of MN
