The Certifited Surgical Tech is a member of the Surgical team who works with Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Registered Nurses and other surgical personnel in delivering care, pre-operatively, intra-operatively and post-operatively. Participation in the coverage of the departmental "On Call" schedule as well as shift adjustment based on the needs of the department is requred.
Our surgical department consists of 8 operating rooms with a designated cardiac and urology suite. The OR suites are equipped with state-of-the-art lighting, tables, and equipment. While all service lines are supported, hearts, vascular, major ortho and neuro spine are the most prominent. The recent addition of the DaVinci Xi will allow this surgery department to provide a high level of care. This collaborative department supports learning and professional growth.
