CHI St. Alexius Health is a regional health network with a tertiary hospital in Bismarck, the system also consists of critical access hospitals (CAHs) in Carrington, Dickinson, Devils Lake, Garrison, Turtle Lake, Washburn and Williston and numerous clinics and outpatient services.  CHI St. Alexius Health manages four CAHs in North Dakota - Elgin, Linton, and Wishek, as well as Mobridge Regional Medical Center in Mobridge, S.D. In this vital role, you will:

• Assess & Diagnose: Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments using recognized tools, identifying patients at risk and driving nutrition-related diagnoses.
• Implement & Educate: Develop and implement targeted nutrition interventions, providing personalized education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers. You'll continuously monitor patient progress and adapt care plans as needed.
• Collaborate for Care: Work seamlessly within our interdisciplinary team, contributing to overall patient care strategies and facilitating optimal outcomes.
• Optimize Nutrition Plans: Create unique intervention plans, including feeding routes and nutrition prescriptions, and meticulously monitor patient response against measurable goals.
• Enhance Patient Experience: Collaborate with our Food and Nutrition Services team, participating in menu reviews, ensuring diet order accuracy, and upholding exceptional customer service.

Education

• Bachelors Degree with completion of accredited dietitian program
  (ACEND - Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition Dietetics.)

Licensure

• Valid registration as a Registered Dietitian with the Commission on
  Dietetic Registration (CDR). Valid dietitian licensure as required by
  state.
