Founded in 1926, Dignity Health - Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center is a 334-bed, acute care, nonprofit hospital. Responsibilities

 

Responsible for the oversight of the Diabetes Program. Assesses and educates patients. Oversees the appropriate data collection. Develops educational programs and strategies to meet goals of the department and hospital.

 

 

 

Qualifications

  • Two years’ experience educating diabetic patients in an outpatient or clinic setting.
  • Three years’ experience teaching diabetic patients. Experience in a leadership position in a diabetes outpatient or clinic setting
  • Bachelor’s degree in Foods & Nutrition or Dietetics. Diabetes Educator Certification
  • Registered Dietitian.
  • Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) preferred
  • Masters Degree in Public Health or related field or Board Certified-Advanced Diabetes Management preferred.

Licensure:

  • RDN and CDCES CT EOC; RG DIETCN CDCES BC-ADM
