The Chaplain is responsible for providing a planned organized and coordinated delivery of spiritual and sacramental services to meet the needs of patients families and staff. The Chaplain works in conjunction with the Manager of Spiritual Care to ensure the ethical and theological direction of spiritual care and assists in implementation of the Palliative Care Program. The Chaplain is responsible for working closely with community clergy to ensure continuity of spiritual care providing an atmosphere of concern and recognizes the dignity and worth of each person. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of Community Hospital of San Bernardino. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support Community Hospital of San Bernardino strategic plan and the goals and direction of the quality improvement process and activities.
