The Staff LVN is a practitioner who demonstrates in-depth knowledge of nursing patient care and the ability to practice independently within the confines of educational preparation physician orders and as assigned and supervised by a registered nurse.

• Demonstrates basic technical nursing skills within scope of practice.
• Utilizes the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic care for patients.
• Collaborates, cooperates and coordinates with RN Case Manager/supervisor to assure effective, consistent management of clients.
• Documents services rendered and client response; Documentation is complete, accurate, timely and legible.
• Assures client charges for supplies are accurately assessed and submitted.
• Complies with safety, infection control, CHW Integrity Program, and other organizational policies.

Required

• High School Graduate and At least one year of acute hospital experience OR High School GED.
• Licensed Vocational Nurse: CA (LVN:CA)
• Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR)
• Driver's License: CA (AUTO:CA)
• Auto Insurance (AUTO-INS)
