Starting Wage: $35.38/hour 

We're hiring  experienced RNs & new grads f or our Inpatient Surgical Unit! At CHI St. Alexius Health, we believe in  #humankindness,  delivering compassionate, patient-centered care.

As an RN, you'll be a vital part of our team, utilizing the nursing process to provide comprehensive care for diverse surgical patients. You'll champion patient recovery, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and contribute to a supportive learning environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Provide holistic care for pre- and post-operative surgical patients.
  • Collaborate with surgeons and specialists for optimal outcomes.
  • Model best practices and uphold high clinical standards.

Skills Needed:

  • Strong clinical skills in surgical care.
  • Organizational and crisis management abilities.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Work Agreement:

  • FTE Status: .9, 72 Hours Per Pay Period
  • Shift type: Day shift/Night shift Rotating
  • Shift length: 12 hour shift 0700-1930 or 1900-0730
  • On Call Expectations: None
  • Weekend/Holiday Frequency: Every third weekend for 12 hour shift RN. 2 holidays per year
  • Job ClassificationL Non-Exempt

Job Requirements

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Education: Nursing degree from an approved school of nursing; BSN preferred.  

Licensure: Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state. 

Experience: At least two (2) years clinical experience within specialty area preferred.
