Is expected to perform duties in alignment with the mission and policies of the organization. Performs duties in support of and in compliance with the performance improvement plan, TJC and other licensing, accrediting and regulatory agencies. The secretary will function as a service support staff member of the Nursing Staffing Office (NSO) His/her primary responsibilities will be to handle the telephones in the NSO and the scheduling of all nursing staff . Have primary responsibility for computer entry for staffing, acuity, Dialysis and PICC Line data.

• Previous Hospital or Medical Clinic experience preferred.
• High School education or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Medical terminology preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Window programs and computer data entry helpful.
• Must have excellent customer service, computer data entry, and telephone skills.
• Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
