Responsibilities

Position Summary:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Equipment Operation. Perform a variety of diagnostic exams and quality assurance procedures; ensures that nuclear imaging equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Patient Care. Maintain accountability for timely and proper service to patients throughout the area; educate patients regarding their procedure and maintain a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for the patient throughout the exam
  • Documentation. Maintains clear documentation within radio-pharmacy information systems

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates or Bachelor of Science Degree from an approved training facility preferred.
  • Must be Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine Technology through the ARRT or NMTCB.
  • Previous Nuclear Medicine experience preferred but not required. New Grads Welcome.
  • Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) for the Healthcare Provider certification.
  • Please be advised that this location requires quarterly American Heart Association (AHA) Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) competency certification post-hire.  This ongoing competency is required through resources internal to the facility; outside RQI competency resources are not acceptable for CommonSpirit Health compliance requirements.
