Responsibilities

As our Radiology Technologist,  you will help capture usable diagnostic images from patients so the Radiologist can accurately diagnose and/or rule out different conditions. If you're looking for variety and work flexibility with hours, this position is for you! This is a PRN casual as needed position. 

 


Every day you could perform any variety of imaging examinations such as  x-rays, ultrasound, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, to name a few. You will also need to enjoy working directly with people as you play a huge role in the patient experience. No experience, no problem! We'll train! 

 

 

 

To be successful in this role, you’ll need to fully understand the importance of diagnostic imaging. This includes knowledge of the general imaging workflow, various patient positioning techniques, and capturing precise results for timely and accurate diagnosis. You have demonstrated the ability to set and maintain multiple priorities in an environment with shifting priorities, while providing accurate deliverables in a timely fashion. You're self-motivated, and able to take ownership of projects/assignments. You're a team player with excellent follow-up and customer service skills. Strong interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills, as well as interpersonal skills in dealing with guests and team members.

 

What you'll do...

 

  • Perform diagnostic procedures with conventional radiology to also include x-rays, ultrasound, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs.
  • Thorough and accurate imaging technique for patient positioning respective to the imaging order.
  • Routinely apply sterile techniques and quality safety practices for patients, teammates, and yourself.
  • Mechanical aptitude and confidence troubleshooting, calibrating, and maintaining radiology equipment to avoid equipment failures.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of a Radiology Technology program 
  • ARRT Board Certified in Radiology (RTR)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) required and issued by the American Heart Association.
