In keeping with the Catholic Healthcare West philosophy is responsible for providing physical therapy treatments to patients to restore maximum function under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. May supervise or be responsible for a particular program such as inservice coordinator.  

Minimum of two to three years of progressive experience with the development of expertise in a given area of therapy. Demonstrates good interpersonal skills and the ability to work tactfully and effectively with fellow staff members physicians hospital departments and the general public. Exceeds performance standards in working knowledge of standard physical therapy practices procedures and equipment utilized in the department. Self motivated and able to achieve results through good organizational skills. Ability to work independently within scope of practice and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment. Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently while ssuming additional responsibilities as assigned by manager/supervisor. Current California license as a Physical Therapy Assistant. Current CPR.
