Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Maintenance Engineer, you will be a critical technical leader, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and longevity of facilities, equipment, and systems.

 

Every day, you will design and implement preventive maintenance programs, conduct root cause analyses, and develop repair strategies. You'll oversee projects, manage budgets, ensure compliance, and collaborate to improve efficiency and operational integrity.

 

To be successful in this role, you will possess a strong engineering foundation, advanced technical troubleshooting skills, proven project management abilities, and a proactive, analytical mindset to minimize downtime and maximize asset life.

  • Maintain, repair, and operate electrical, mechanical, plant operating, and facilities equipment (e.g., boilers, chillers, air handlers, medical gases).
  • Repair/replace electrical components rated less than 600 volts.
  • Perform general maintenance/repair for safe and efficient plant operation.
  • Care for supplies/tools; maintain required records/reports.
  • Assist night security as needed.

Job Requirements

Required

  • Building Codes Division Licenses: Boiler-Class 3 Service Mechanic (CL3), Boiler-Class 2 Pressure Vessel Installer (CL2), LMS, LHR, CFC Certification, Legacy FM Training Completion.
  • Oregon Driver's License.
  • Two years in facilities maintenance.
  • High school diploma or GED

  • Trade/technical school
