Responsibilities:

•  The technologist is primarily responsible for daily operations of the MRI section, patient schedule, equipment maintenance, the report of equipment failures, and quality assessment (QA)

• Responsible for performing studies in other modalities as trained or required.
• Responsible in enforcing magnetic field safety for MRI patients, operator and visitors.

• The technologist maintains a high standard of medical ethics at all times and is self-motivated to increase level of understanding and knowledge of the field, disease, and new procedures as they evolve.

Required Education & Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in MRI
• Must have completed an accredited Radiology or MRI program (Associates Degree)

Required Licensure:

• MRAD - TX
• RTR & RTMR
• BLS-CPR
