Job Summary / Purpose
Under minimum supervision, this position is responsible for benefit management, analysis, administration, communication, compliance, benefit program coordination and project management for system-wide offered medical programs with annual cost of about $1 billion for 130,000 employees across the country. Works as a liaison with insurance carriers, third party administrators (TPAs), consultants, national groups, market divisions, People Connections (HR Technology), HR leaders and employees. Develops benefits communication materials including preparation and presentations to CommonSpirit Health employees and market regional HR leaders and benefit staff. Create materials for the Contact Center on notification of system issues/carrier notifications that may rise.

Minimum Qualifications
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent education and experience.
Required Licensure and Certifications
CEBS preferred, but not required.
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Training
Minimum of three years of experience in benefits administration.
Must possess detailed benefit knowledge including coverage provisions, legal requirements, and implementation and enrollment process. Must have a broad perspective on industry plans, trends, vendors, administrators, and financing arrangements. Must have strong knowledge of vendor fee arrangements. Must be able to work under minimal supervision.
