Responsibilities

*This is a remote opportunity

 

  • Participates in data security initiatives including but not limited to deployment of unstructured data 

protection solutions

  • Responsible for troubleshooting data security problems
  • Develops custom scripts, securing systems, and configuring platforms to enhance existing cybersecurity.
  • Participates in root-cause analysis to determine improvement strategies when failures occur.
  • Participates in Continual Service Improvement efforts by identifying opportunities for process improvement
  • Drive and participate in the reduction of enterprise and organizational cybersecurity risk
  • Manage workload, prioritizing tasks and documenting time, and other duties.
  • Drive and participate in the collection, documentation and dissemination of vital information.
  • Key participant in the development, population, and championing of knowledge management and collaboration systems for the Cybersecurity team.
  • Communicates complex technical information to team members and all levels of management.
  • Act as a security advocate for IT operations team’s adherence to CommonSpirit Health policies and industry best practices

 

Essential Key Job Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management, development, configuration, and implementation of solutions related to unstructured data protection.
  • Provides support and works on multiple functions of basic to intermediate complexity related to unstructured data. 
  • Support cybersecurity related activities to maintain and optimize the security posture of the organization.

Qualifications

Bachelors Preferred

1 or more relevant technical/professional security certifications preferred

3 years job related experience required

1 year minimum experience with Varonis UDP application required

2 - 3 years experience working in a Microsoft Windows server environment required

Ability to prioritize work, collaborate with others, and work independently
