St. Joseph’s Progressive Care Unit is an intermediate level of care between general hospital floors and an intensive care unit (ICU), providing a step-down unit for patients transitioning from critical care.
PCU patient’s conditions require more frequent monitoring than general units but aren't unstable enough for ICU care.
