• Reviews cultures reports, medical reports and census reports regarding hospital-acquired, as defined by governing bodies, and non hospital-acquired infections.
• Assists in review of data for trends and problems concerning infection control.
• Assists with the OSHA Exposure Control Plan, Disease Specific Manual and other system policies concerning infection control as required.
• Presents in-services to all hospital staff covering OSHA, multi-drug resistant isolates and emerging pathogens.
• Assists with walk through in concern with infection control at various facilities connected with SVI at the request of that facility or Administration and gives feed back to facility

Registered Nurse in the State of Arkansas

CIC Certification within 2 years of employment.

Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred

Five years related hospital experience; experience in Infection Prevention preferred.
