The CARDIAC CATH LAB at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center plays a critical role within the Cardiac Service Line of Excellence supporting the Heart & Vascular Institue.. It is locate on the 2nd floor of the Heart Lung Tower, The Cardiac Cath Lab consists of 4 rooms plus a Hybrid room dedicated to a patient population providing diagnostic and interventional services as well as pacemakers, AICD's and Electrophysiology procedures TAVR. Mitral Clip and LAAO.
As our Cardiac Cath Lab Nurse at SJHMC, you’ll care for patients who may have life-threatening cardiac events or conditions while helping their families navigate daily care and the long-term plan for healing and maintenance outside of the hospital.

Responsibilities:
As a Cath Lab Nurse, will assist the doctor in performing interventional procedures like cardiac catheterizations, valvuloplasties, and angioplasties. Other procedures include inserting pacemakers and implantable cardioverter-defibrillators (ICDs). Additional responsibilities for this health care role include:
Minimum:
AZ RN license
American Heart Association BLS certification
ACLS certification
Must be able to participate on a rotating call schedule and report to the hospital within 30 minutes of call
