As a Registered Nurse in our Emergency Department, you will provide high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute and emergent medical conditions. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is a 336-bed non-profit teaching facility providing quality health care to patients and communities in and around Seattle Washington. We are part of CommonSpirit Health which operates 137 hospitals and more than 1,000 care sites across 21 states making our services accessible to nearly 1 in 4 U.S. residents.
Our Emergency Department is designated and certified as a Primary Stroke Center. Along with our outstanding cardiac care services, our patients have shorter wait times than both the national average and WA State average (according to "medicare data. We have 22 ED beds and see an average of 80 patients per day.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
We require:
Licensure: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State.Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
Experience: Previous experience in an emergency department setting is preferred.
Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), and [Other required certifications, e.g., PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support), TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)].CPR certification is required every two years or as specified by the work. Other certifications may be required for specialty areas.
