MRI Technologist Operates a magnetic resonance scanner to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies. Obtains patient history and screening forms, explains routine procedures and addresses patient concerns. Responsible for maintaining patient record and files. Performs quality assurance on magnetic resonance scanner.
Required Education for Staff Job Levels | Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology |
Preferred Education or Experience | Previous experience in MRI preferred. |
Required Licensure and Certifications | MRAD:KY; RTR, or RTBD, or RTCT, or RTCV, or RTM, or RTN, or RTQM, or RTT, or RTVI, or RTVS BLS-CPR RTMR - within 12 months |
