Responsibilities

Northridge Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled Imaging Tech I with expertise in Cardiac Catheterization procedures. The right candidate must have relevant certifications and a strong understanding of cath lab protocols. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail are essential. Join our dynamic team in providing exceptional patient care in the realm of Cardiac Imaging.

 

  • Perform imaging procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment while adhering to safety standards and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain inventory and assist in ordering necessary supplies for the department.
  • Capturing high-quality cardiac images

Qualifications

  • A minimum of two (2) years of experience in a hospital and radiology department is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have satisfactory completion of formal radiological technology training in an AMA approved school or a BS or AA degree in Radiologic Technology in an AMA approved school.
  • Cross-training in CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and Mammography is required.
  • ARRT License (national) required,
  • CRT (state) and Fluoroscopy certification required.
  • Certification in one modality required.
  • Fire Safety card required. (must obtain within 90 days of start date) 

 

This position is represented by SEIU-UHW and is covered by the terms and conditions of the collective bargaining agreement.
