Methodist Hospital a member of Dignity Health is currently looking for an experienced Care Assistant to join their hospital staff.  The Care Assistant is a member of the healthcare team who is accountable for patient care supportive services for a unit(s) under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse.

The Care Assistant shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Methodist Hospital and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.

Requirements:

• This position requires at least 1+ year of experience CNA/nurse assistant/care giver in a healthcare setting.
• HS diploma or equivalent.
• Certification from vocational school or similar is a plus.
• Knowledge of medical terminology anatomy and physiology a must.
• BLS from the American Heart Association.
