Responsibilities

Pharmacy Intern – St. Bernardine Medical Center


Embark on a hands-on learning journey as a Pharmacy Intern at St. Bernardine Medical Center, where you will gain practical experience in both clinical and operational pharmacy functions. Under the direct supervision of licensed pharmacists, you will assist in preparing, compounding, and distributing medications while supporting regulatory compliance and medication safety standards.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Support medication preparation and distribution with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
  • Assist with controlled substance inventory and storage in accordance with DEA, FDA, and state regulations.
  • Utilize pharmacy automation systems for medication management and documentation.
  • Field and triage calls related to medication distribution, offering support within your scope of training.
  • Participate in clinical and administrative projects to enhance your knowledge and readiness for a pharmacist role.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and Enrolled in or graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy is required.
  • Pharmacy Intern license
  • Enrolled in an accredited school of pharmacy
  • Basic computer knowledge
