Overview

Nestled in the heart of East Sacramento Dignity Health Mercy General Hospital is a 313 bed acute care facility that provides a wide range of services with special advocacy for the poor and underserved. Mercy General is home to the nationally ranked Alex G. Spanos Heart & Vascular Institute. Key achievements and recognitions include: from the Joint Commission; Advanced Joint Replacement Spine Center of Excellence Primary Stroke Center Ventricular Assist Device and Chest Pain Certification. Other accolades include CMS 5 stars Practice Green Health 2021 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grade "A" Level 4 Epilepsy Center and Opioid Stewardship Honor Roll. Responsibilities

Responsible for leading, planning, directing, monitoring and improving the overall performance for assigned clinics to achieve excellence in the delivery of daily operations. Engages staff and cultivate a
positive clinics culture that prioritizes human kindness and patient-centric care. Accountable for operational, financial, clinical, quality, and business development activities across multiple disciplines.

 

Skills:

  • Knowledge of the requirements forproviding care and supervision appropriateto the residents; knowledge of and ability to conform to the applicable laws, rules and regulations as set out by the licensing agency
  • Ability to direct others; ability to maintain or supervise the maintenance of financial and other records
  • Knowledge of ancillary services such as nursing, social and recreational activities, housekeeping, dietary and supporting services. Ability to plan and coordinate all management functions
  • Ability to interpret and implement Board policies and regulations, exercising prudent judgement and initiative
  • Ability to maintain good working relatoinships with Board members, staff, residents, their families and the public

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree - Gerontology, business or related field
  • Minimum of five (5) years experience in related field. Minimum of three (3) years management experience
  • RCFE required
