Overview

Dignity Health Medical Group is the employed physician group of Dignity Health Arizona. Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. Responsibilities

  • Provides education and training to provider organization on how to improve clinical and patient outcomes, provides information on HEDIS measures, and ensure feedback is relayed on documenting appropriate medical record documentation and appropriate coding. 
  • Assists in resolving deficiencies impacting compliance to meet State and Federal standards for HEDIS. Supports the development and implementation of quality improvement interventions and audits..
  • Support member quality initiatives to improve HEDIS and Stars performance.
  • Provides resources on clinical quality measures to support providers and clinic staff.
  • Reports provider/clinic specific metrics. Identifies specific practice needs and barriers to clinical quality improvement. Develops action plans to address the needs and barriers in collaboration with providers.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Registered Nurse: AZ (RN:AZ)
  • 2 years related HEDIS record collection and measures improvement with analytical review/evaluation and/or Quality Improvement
  • Experience in data and chart reviews to provide consultation and education to providers and provider staff

 

Preferred:

  • Experience in health care setting and pay-for- performance or similar programs 
  • Associates degree or a clinical Certification, such as medical assistant
