Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 400 providers and 1200 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. **MUST RESIDE IN ARIZONA
The Revenue Cycle Onboarding Specialist is responsible for the successful onboarding and initial education of new revenue cycle employees. This role focuses on providing hands-on, workflow-specific instruction to ensure new employees quickly become proficient in their roles and contribute effectively to the team. The educator will utilize a variety of training methods, including shadowing, simulations, and guided practice, to equip new employees with the skills and knowledge necessary to navigate revenue cycle systems, processes, and workflows. This position requires a strong understanding of revenue cycle operations, excellent communication and coaching skills, and a passion for helping new employees become successful members of the Revenue Cycle Team.
MINIMUM
High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in revenue cycle operations in a healthcare setting
Strong understanding of revenue cycle workflows, systems, and processes
PREFERRED
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, or a related field
Certified Professional Biller (CPB) through AAPC
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
Experience in training, coaching, or mentoring
Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to provide constructive feedback and support to new employees.
Proficiency in Google applications.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Knowledge of healthcare regulations, coding guidelines, and payer requirements (depending on the specific revenue cycle area)
