Position Summary:
The technician is responsible for assisting with patient care within the assigned work area and participates as a member of the health care team. The technician contributes to the care of the patient by following established Surgical Services standards.
This position is represented by SEIU, Local 1107 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
Minimum:
One (1) year hospital experience.
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Graduate from a Surgical Technologist program or one year hospital experience if a Surgical Tech.
Required to be flexible in schedule, i.e., weekends, holidays and on call.
CT CPRBLS - Basic Life Support - AHA
Preferred:
Surgery center or GI Lab.
