Ultrasound Technician II

• Performs diagnostic medical sonographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision to technical detail.
• Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment with ingenuity and initiative.
• Ability to work independently and be a functional team member in a team oriented environment
• Demonstrates knowledge of Ultrasound procedures both diagnostic and interventional

• More than one year experience in Abdomen or OB/GYN
• Must be current with continuing education units required by the licensing board of the ARDMS
• Must have a current CPR/BLS and ARDMS certification
• Must be well versed in both general and cross sectional anatomy, as well as physiology

• Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer venous Doppler, Color Doppler, Neurosonography and Interventional Procedures
• ARDMS certified in physics and one other area, preferably abdomen or OB/Gyn preferred
• Active member of a major diagnostic professional society preferred
