• Performs routine and complex testing in the histology laboratory and performs quality control for testing performed.
• Performs routine maintenance and repair on instruments utilized.

This position is represented by SEIU, Local 399 and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.

• One (1) year experience as a histology technician in an acute care facility.
• Ability to work with minimal direct supervision.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to be an effective team member and to work with many publics across all departments.
• Basic knowledge of histology testing procedures.
