Dignity Health Mercy San Juan Medical Center is a 384-bed not-for-profit Level 2 Trauma Center located in Carmichael California. We have served north Sacramento County as well as south Placer County for over 50 years. Our facility is one of the area's largest medical centers and also one of the most comprehensive. Experience:
A minimum of 3 years credentialing experience in an Acute Care setting or 5 years credentialing experience in an Ambulatory setting (required).
Education:
High School diploma or equivalent (required).
Associate's or Bachelor's degree or some college education preferred.
Licensure:
CPCS certification is preferred.
Special Skills:
Special skills required include: good data entry skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; medical terminology; customer service;
organizational skills; team orientation; ability to maintain confidentiality and familiarity with HIPAA regulations.
Training:
Training in or working knowledge of TJC/CMS/Title 22 /NCQA standards and requirements; advanced Microsoft Office products MSO/MSOW, Excel, Word, Outlook, Access, Internet software; and office equipment including computer, copy machine, fax, and scanner (required).
